An err...

'Committing a mistake is not wrong, but repeating is'.

Mistakes are inevitable part of life. There are some which happens knowingly, some unknowingly and some others deliberately.

There are few that I committed in IIITB.

1. Some time ago I happen to send a mail to Prof. Prasanna. In the mail he had asked us to do a list of jobs which were 3 in no. But the 3rd one we were'nt sure. So I replied saying that 'If possible we will do the 3rd part...'. I didnt even think while replying. The reply came 'Do all the three'. I was surprised to see that. After re-read the mail that was sent, I realized what the mistake was ..To somebody who is such a respected person I had told him, 'If possible...' what an act of ignorance it is...I regret it.

2. The other one was regarding the arrangement of transportation for the MSRI (Microsoft Research India) for which I was coordinating. Last time it was MSRI who had arranged the visit. This time MSRI expected IIITB to arrange. A request mail was supposed to be sent to Director Prof. Sadagopan...This time , I was cautious and had atleast taken around 25 minutes to compose a mail of 6 lines...There you go..Everything seemed to be fine..what was the error..I had said- 'I request you for the transportation to visit MSRI '..It is such an odd sentence when sending it to somebody like Prof. Sadagopan , who is admired so much. It did'nt even stuck to my mind that there could be better sentences.. Now, I don't even have the right to regret.

Education is not only studying subjects it is also about how to communicate properly with such a respected and admired people...

Need to learn a lot....
