Diwali Surprise Bonanza

The Scenario :
Time : 12.15 pm
Venue : College . Classroom 132

It was a bright afternoon, and everything seemed to be bright. Most of them had left for home for Diwali and I was cursing myself why the heck did'nt I leave for home early. There was a WebIR class and 2 students were supposed to present the seminar. Usually Sir comes to the seminar after the seminar begins and PhD students evaluates it. Today, he turned up on dot and Guess what only four (out of over 25 students) were present at 12.15 am near the class and more over the speakers were not present. After enquiring about the thin attendance and absence of speakers on time, Sir became furious and who does'nt. In a class of strength of over 28, only 4 were present on time.Things which seemed to be bright and suddenly everything seemed to be RED (not dark...RED because DANGER). And More was to come. A surprise test was conducted at 4pm and that too programming. One guy did not inform the class that he is not presenting the seminar and He had his day. Even the TA's i.e PhD students went berserk and took us left and right with whatever words they could get. The royal Diwali Cracker (blasting -10000 wala) was got by other speaker who presented for one and half hour (seminar is for half an hour). Some of the students were cribbing saying that how can a surprise test be conducted with a short notice of 2 hours and saying that surprise test should be announced atleast a day before :-) .Some people were also eager to go and approach sir to postpone the test. When the system follows a Professor Centric Model, Professor has his final say. More over, instead of asking for post-ponement (which would'nt have happened), it is better to face the test. Anyways, the test was conducted and the bursting of diwali crackers continued till the end of the test. After the test was over, the programs were copied in a folder which was named as DIWALISURPRISETEST. It was a Grand Diwali Surprise Bonanza for us...And,I don't curse myself now for not going home early.

HAPPY DIWALI...
